COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS AND PROTOCOLS

  • Masks are optional and we fully respect everyone’s choice.

What if a class/camp does not meet minimum registration?

Each class/camp needs a minimum of 8 kids for the camp to take place (so tell your friends!).  In the event that a class or camp doesn’t have enough students registered, we may need to cancel that class. However, we want to do everything we can to find a solution so your kiddo doesn’t miss out on an awesome experience! If we think we are going to need to cancel a class we will give you as much notice as possible.

If a class is canceled, you can choose a different week/class with availability. If your child is unable to attend another week, a full refund will be given.

What if a class/camp is full?

If a class/camp is full, please join the waitlist! If someone cancels we will let you know! We can only accommodate up to 20 kids in most camps/classes so be sure to register early to guarantee a spot for your child.

What if my child misses a class?

Due to the format of in-person summer camps, there is not a way to make up missed days. We will do our best to bring your child up to speed on what they missed. We do not prorate camps or classes for missed days.

What is process art?

Process art emphasizes the ‘process’ of making art more than the outcome. It’s about the experience the kids have while creating. Children learn through play and open-ended activities. This allows them to explore, ask questions, and see how things work. It allows them to be themselves, make their own decisions, and just create! Not all of our classes/camps are process-oriented, but whenever possible we always encourage the process over the end project.

Can I sit in my child’s class?

Our classes/camps/workshops are drop-off unless otherwise noted that parent assistance is needed.

Behavior / Standard of Conduct

All participants are expected to interact in a positive and appropriate manner with classmates and leaders. All parents & students are also required to behave in a supportive, accepting & welcoming manner while in our programming. Any person whose behavior is negative or impacts others physically or emotionally is disruptive, demonstrates hate, bullying, or violence, to any person for any reason, will result in dismissal or removal from camp/class at the discretion of Spark. Ignite. Launch! Learning Academy instructors. In this event, no refund will be given.
